Panoramic two-day tour around Mont Fallère (3060 m)
Departure from Pleiney hamlet of Saint-Rhémy-en-Bosses at 1464 m for two days in the high mountains through beautiful pastures, forests and alpine pastures connected together by sliding farm roads and fun tracks. Overnight in the modern and comfortable Mont Fallère hut at 2385 m built by the well-known Aosta Valley sculptor Siro Viérin, where you can relax with a regenerating hot shower and a dinner with typical products and excellent local wines.
The second day we will start downhill with the coolness of the high mountains but the southern exposure will allow us to benefit from the sun. A fun single track slightly uphill will take us to pass through the Col de Joux and its beautiful lake and then to go on along a relaxing dirt road to the base of the most important Col Citrin 2485 m which we will reach after about 45 minutes of portage.
