Overnight in the modern and comfortable Mont Fallère hut at 2385 m built by the well-known Aosta Valley sculptor Siro Viérin, where you can relax with a regenerating hot shower and a dinner with typical products and excellent local wines.
The second day we will start downhill with the coolness of the high mountains but the southern exposure will allow us to benefit from the sun. A fun single track slightly uphill will take us to the Col de Joux 1900 m with a spectacular view of Mont Blanc. Downhill on a dirt road along the Vertosan valley 1800 m and then up to the Col di Bard 2150 m first on a dirt road and then on a fun single track along an canal. With a beautiful view over the Valdigne we will follow down a technical path and then some ups and downs will allow us to reach the village of Challancin 1600 m. From here the last climb of 200 m on a single trek and then on a dirt road will take us to the village of Planaval where we will spend the night in the comfortable B&B La Jolie Bergère, excellent shower and typical cuisine.
